NEW! Muttland Meadows now
has it’s own web site:
MUTTLAND MEEADOWS
Muttland Meadows is located at
HOLD THE PHONE! Where is
Muttland Meadows? Well the
actual address is 789 S Green
Bay RD in Grafton, WI 53024.
However, don’t enter that
address into your GPS just yet!
I entered that address and
arrived at my destination
according to my GPS but there
was no park in sight. And don’t
enter it into MapQuest or even
Google maps or you will land at
a point on the map that is
conspicuously vacant of a
meadow for mutts. Google Earth and Google Maps inexpertly pinpoint
Muttland Meadows at 2020 S. Green Bay RD, while MapQuest becomes very
confused indeed unless you enter 800 S. Green Bay RD. I hope that clears
up the confusion. Once Muttland Meadows be reached, you and your dog(s)
will find one very delightful dog park. Approximately seven acres of partially
wooded all fenced in land with a strange sense of humor. For instance, the
trail heads and other features have canine alliterative names such as
Airedale Alley and Beagle Brook to name a few. Dog friendly items are
scattered about the park including an actual red painted fire hydrant and
a mail box for the dogs to spice up the tedium of marking territory. Like
other dog parks, Muttland Meadows provides waste buckets for the dog’s
jobbies. One fine feature that I rather took to was the strategic placement
of old tennis rackets in the park, a more elegant chuckit for a more civilized
age. CLICK HERE for park notices. CLICK HERE for the donation envelope.
